Looking for gyms in the Tri-Cities with good child care facilities for kids to play while you're working out. Hours child care is available would be nice too!

Try Lifestyle Fitness in JCity. They have a decent work out schedule and there is a separate business inside the facility called Noah's Ark that's a day care. You can use the day care portion even if you're not working out. It's a nice option. There facility looks clean, fun and I've heard of lots of parents who use the Noah's Ark. Happy gym hunting.

Oh yes, Lifestyle also has a free first two week workout for anyone interested in possibly joining. I took advantage of this 2 free weeks, because I really wasn't sure if working out with a full time mommy schedule was manageable.

The Wellness Center in Johnson City also has child care for while you work out. It is for members only. It is $3 for up to 2 hours. Two hours is the maximum they kids can stay there per day. They are open 8am to noon, and again in the afternoon....I think maybe around 4pm - 8pm. You can also buy a pass which makes each visit only a little over $2. DS3 has a very good time!

I'm also worried about security. Don't want anybody taking my baby!

i'm not sure any gym around here has any kind of security like special doors with cards to enter etc...
I know when my daughter went to prek program at the church that they had great security they had cameras and you had to have a card or them let you in..

i think at gyms its just a couple of people watching your child ...that was always my fear and why i never go to the gym inless shes in school or with a relative anyone i think could just walk in and take your child..maybe thats just me being paranoid..but if my grandmother cant watch her then i dont go..

if you find one that has a nice security enabled feature please let me know..as i think they all should have this regardless!
