My husband and I have recently been cell phone shopping. Our contract is up, and we were just looking for a cheaper plan. I called everywhere and I mean everywhere, we decided on the new straight talk plan that walmart is offering just because it seemed to be such a great deal. I even spoke with my current provider to see if they could offer anything close and they said no, not even close and that they had been losing alot of business to straight talk. So thats what we chose to do, and so far so good.

We have 2 phones, unlimited minutes unlimited text, and unlimited interent for $90 a month (45 each) it is no contract but you can choose to get your fee deducted each month from your account so you don't have to deal with the annoying cards you have to buy at walmart.

At this point I would recommend it to everyone, if that changes I will let you know, but my cousing has had the same thing for 3 months now and still no problems.

Who is the provider? What cell towers do you use? My fear is going into SW Virginia and not having any service because it won't pick up those towers. ALSO, what kind of phones do you get with the plan? Can you get Blackberries?

i know exactley what your talking about me my husband and our 14 yr old all have cell phones and talk about a bill. mine and my husband bill was not to much but when you have a teenager all they do is wanna text or get on the web it can really run your bill up high. so we figured we buy our daughter one 1st because if it didn't work good or wouldn't hold out long she's the 1 to put it to the test. and the phone has worked great so we all went and got one. i do know that the provider is tracfone. they have a limited number of phones in the stores but my daughter has its just like an IPHONE they have more you can buy on their web site straight talk.com

my husband and I are on verizon and wont go anywere else...they have the best coerage for us and we rarely if ever drop signal.

our bill with all the taxs and fees is 161 a month minus fees its like 100-120
we have 700 minutes in between the both of us but everyone we talk to has verizon so we dont use any minutes up. same thing with texting.

so its really great for us.

he has the droid and i have the storm we love verizons phones...

if we were not with verizon we would be with at&t so we could get the iphones however at&t service we hear is really sorry.....so the droid is really awesome...

i just hate going with smaller cell companies b/c customer service is usually non existent and thers problems and its easier to deal with bigger companies.
