Hey, I am new to this board. I belong to another mommy board, but then discovered this one. I was looking for a more local board so that I may meet other mommies in the areas for playdates, etc. My name is Amanda. I am 26. I have one son, Dylan, who is 19 months old, born on June 3rd. I look forward to getting to know all you ladies! :)

Are you on WTE?? My son was born on June 3rd too!! Your SN is the same as someone on WTE. I'm a lurker there:) but I have posted a little.

I'm 26 too and have a 19 month old named Caden, he was born 6/18. Where in SWVA are you? I am in Abingdon.

Yes!!! I am just moving to the area from the northern VA/DC area! Have you never posted on WTE?? THat's crazy that you would be on there too!

I have posted a few times, but not a lot. My son was due May 08, so I was more on that board while prego and newly "mommed." lol Now I lurk on both board sometimes just to see who is prego again and what is going on. There is anotehr WTE mom on here, but she is a May 08 momma. It is SO amazingly random that WTE moms would find themselves here on this site!! I love it!

Where from? I lived in (and have family from) Manassas, Dale City, Falls Church, and Dumfries. I attend GMU in Fairfax for a year. Right now we live in Blountville, but are trying to sell our house and move closer to the Gate City area.

I lived in Alexandria, VA. My family is in Pennington Gap, which is about 30 minutes from Gate City.

Pennington Gap, which is a little over an hour from Abingdon, but I spend a lot of time in Johnson City area.

Wow, that is a pretty far drive from Pennington Gap...do you work there? I'm here at the Times News, but I live in Mt. Carmel.

:D I'm originally from BSG... Graduated from PV. Moved to the DC area to go to Mason... moved to Georgia for a few years then came back. Alexandria is a BEAUTIFUL area. I have an Aunt the lived there for a long time but has retired back to this area. Welcome!

I know, Alexandria is beautiful! I lived right by the water! I loved it and really miss it sometimes! I took some classes at Mason also! Looks like you have been everywhere that I have been! :)
