I'm looking for classes to take my 16 month old girl to. She already goes to a tumbling class but it's only once a week and she gets so bored at the house. Does anyone know of any dance classes or playgroups (or ANYTHING) we can do during the week for a child this young?

Maybe if you have friends that have kids the same age as yours maybe set up a play day and take turns at each others house...Fun for the kiddo and moms get to also have adult conversation

Have you called and asked about the Kindermusic Program? I'm not sure of what ages they take but my sojn absolutely loved it!

My daughter is 17 months old and we do Kindermusik in Kingsport and I know they offer it at Princeton Arts Center in JC too. They take kids starting really young (4 months?). I know my daughter has gotten a lot out of it. Don't know which city you are located in, but we're also part of the Kingsport Moms and Munchkins Meet-Up group, and there are a couple of other kids between 14-20 months in there too (and other ages as well) and we try to meet at least once a week or so on varying days. And if you want to get to know each other better here and set up a playdate for our girls at the park in warmer weather or maybe at FunExpeditions little playground (I think it's $3 or something)I'd be open to that.

We attend KinderMusik too, I have posted a lot about it just because we love it so much. they actually start at new born, but I don't think you have to pay for it until 4 months...it might be a little older. If you are intersted and are in the KPT area I can give you the contact info, just let me know.
